    🌍 About the Project

    Invictus Africa is leading the Womanity Index 2026 Social Norms Study, a large-scale nationwide research initiative aimed at measuring the prevalence and intensity of social norms linked to Gender-Based Violence (GBV) across Nigeria.

    This important study seeks to generate a state-by-state ranking of harmful and protective social norms, providing key stakeholders—including policymakers, civil society organizations, and development partners—with a reliable baseline to track progress and drive impactful interventions over time.

    To successfully implement this project, Invictus Africa will deploy trained enumerators across all states, under the supervision of competent and experienced State Field Supervisors who will ensure data quality, ethical compliance, and efficient field coordination.

    🧭 Role Overview

    Each State Field Supervisor will play a vital leadership role by managing a team of approximately 10 enumerators within their assigned state.

    They will ensure strict adherence to research protocols, maintain high-quality data collection standards, and act as a communication bridge between field teams and the Central Coordination Team (CCT).

    📌 Key Responsibilities

    🔹 Orientation & Training
    • Participate in national-level training on study objectives, tools, and ethical standards
    • Lead and support training sessions for enumerators at the state level
    • Provide continuous mentorship and guidance to field staff

    🔹 Supervision & Quality Control
    • Monitor field activities including household and community data collection
    • Conduct spot checks and daily reviews of submitted data
    • Ensure compliance with standardized methodologies and ethical procedures

    🔹 Technical & Logistical Support
    • Support enumerators in using electronic data collection tools (e.g., KoboCollect)
    • Address field challenges and escalate complex issues when necessary

    🔹 Communication & Reporting
    • Maintain consistent communication with both enumerators and the CCT
    • Submit timely progress updates and detailed weekly reports

    🔹 Ethical Oversight
    • Ensure all respondents provide informed consent
    • Maintain confidentiality and integrity of collected data
    • Report any ethical breaches promptly

    🎓 Required Qualifications

    ✔ Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences, Public Health, or a related discipline
    ✔ At least 3 years of experience supervising large-scale research or data collection projects
    ✔ Strong understanding of GBV, gender equality, or public health issues
    ✔ Proficiency in electronic data collection tools (especially KoboCollect)
    ✔ Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
    ✔ Fluency in the local language of the state of application
    ✔ Must be a resident of the state applied for (MANDATORY)
