AREWA24 is recruiting a qualified candidate for the position of TV Programs and Data Researcher at its headquarters in Kano State. This is a freelance role within the Programming Content Strategy and Research department reporting to the Director of Studio Productions.

The TV Programs and Data Researcher will be responsible for analyzing audience data market trends and content performance to support programming decisions. The role involves conducting in depth research on television content analyzing viewership data and ratings monitoring competitor platforms and providing data driven recommendations for content development scheduling and acquisition. The successful candidate will also track program performance maintain research databases and prepare monthly and quarterly analytical reports for management.

Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Media Studies Statistics Marketing Economics or a related field with a minimum of 5 years experience in media research broadcast analytics or data analysis. Candidates should demonstrate strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in Excel data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau and research software. Knowledge of audience measurement systems and television ratings methodologies is required. Excellent communication collaboration and project management skills are essential along with the ability to work under tight deadlines. Proficiency in both Hausa and English languages is required.
