A reputable pharmaceutical company is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Account Officer to join its finance team in Kano State. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth financial management and reporting within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with the preparation, analysis, and presentation of financial statements, reports, and budgets
Maintain accurate and organized financial records, including journal entries, ledgers, and accounts receivable/payable
Reconcile financial transactions and accounts to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data
Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations, adjustments, and accruals
Prepare and process invoices, payments, and expense reports
Assist with payroll processing, including data entry, calculations, and reconciliations
Monitor and track financial transactions, expenses, and budgets for compliance with regulations and company policies
Collaborate with other departments, such as purchasing, sales, and operations, to coordinate financial activities
Provide assistance to auditors, tax professionals, and regulatory agencies during audits and examinations
Stay updated on accounting standards, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and accuracy
