    Mshel Homes Limited is a leading real estate development company in Nigeria dedicated to bridging the housing gap by delivering high-quality and affordable residential apartments. Since its establishment, the company has focused on providing housing solutions that cater to medium- and high-income earners, with operations spanning Abuja and other parts of the country.

    As part of its continued expansion, Mshel Homes Limited is currently recruiting for the position of Human Resources and Operations Officer to be based in Kano, Nigeria.

    Job Summary

    The Human Resources and Operations Officer will support the HR department in the implementation of human resource policies and operational procedures. The role involves managing employee relations, supporting recruitment and onboarding processes, and ensuring smooth HR and operational functions across the organization.

    Key Responsibilities

    Human Resources Functions:

    • Develop job descriptions and post job vacancies
    • Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and coordinate recruitment processes
    • Facilitate onboarding, orientation, and training for new employees
    • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns
    • Support employee relations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution
    • Promote positive workplace culture and employee engagement initiatives
    • Assist in performance appraisal systems and evaluation processes
    • Support managers in setting performance goals and conducting reviews
    • Provide coaching and feedback to employees
    • Identify training needs and coordinate staff development programs
    • Maintain training records and evaluate effectiveness of programs

    Operational Responsibilities:

    • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
    • Prepare HR-related reports including attendance, payroll, and leave data
    • Ensure compliance with Nigerian labor laws and company policies
    • Improve operational procedures to enhance productivity and efficiency
    • Support procurement, inventory control, and internal logistics processes
    • Collaborate with departments to ensure smooth workflow and alignment
    • Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions where necessary
    • Support health and safety policies and conduct routine inspections
    • Perform additional duties as assigned by management

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar HR role (real estate or construction experience is an advantage)
    • Strong understanding of Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR management systems

    Salary

    ₦200,000 – ₦300,000 per month
