Overview

Construction Engineers – LGA Based at Nina Jojer Limited. This role offers opportunities to work across multiple sites in partnership with UNICEF and other organizations to support the rehabilitation of primary healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct daily visits to assigned PHCs to monitor construction and revitalization activities.
Ensure work progresses according to approved plans, timelines, and quality standards.
Identify and report delays, issues, or deviations to the project management team.
Maintain accurate records of site visits, observations, and progress updates.
Liaise with contractors and PHC staff to resolve on-site concerns.
Provide timely feedback and recommendations to improve implementation efficiency.

Requirements

M.Sc. in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Structural Engineering.
B.Sc. with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the built environment.
Minimum of 3 years professional experience in civil engineering construction.
Experience in health facility construction and community-based projects.
Excellent communication skills; knowledge of Hausa, Igbo, or Yoruba is required.
Strong teamwork, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to travel to rural and semi-urban areas; flexibility in travel and scheduling.
IT skills for data analysis and planning.
Experience working with LGAs and local community leaders.
