Overview

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is seeking applications for the position of Programme Analyst, open to Tier 1 and Tier 2 applicants who are Nigerian nationals.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical and strategic liaison between UNDP and local commissions/governments.
• Coordinate development programmes and track project implementation.
• Engage stakeholders and provide policy and technical analysis.
• Support monitoring and evaluation, capacity building, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in International Development, Economics, Business Management, Political Science, or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of two years relevant professional experience is acceptable.
• Experience with government institutions, regional development agencies, or UN systems is desirable.
• Fluency in English is required; working knowledge of Igbo is an asset.
• Competencies in data analysis, reporting, and project management tools.

Benefits

Full time, nine month contract; Grade NPSA-8.
