    Engaging over 25,000 organizations, 1.3 million youth, and reaching billions globally, GLF champions ecosystem restoration, sustainable development, youth engagement, and innovative finance solutions to address climate change and biodiversity loss.

    Job Overview

    The Youth Program Coordinator will lead the Global Landscapes Forum (GLF) Youth Program, focusing on empowering young leaders aged 18–35 in climate action, ecosystem restoration, and sustainability.

    The role involves strategic planning, program delivery, partnership building, and representing GLF at international forums to amplify youth voices in global environmental policies.

    Key Responsibilities

    Strategy Development and Implementation

    • Develop and execute multi-year strategies to integrate youth across all GLF programs.
    • Collaborate with the YIL Steering Committee to set priorities and test innovative impact scaling approaches.
    • Monitor and evaluate youth engagement processes to ensure effective outcomes.

    Team and Program Management

    • Lead and support the GLF Youth Program team, ensuring high-quality, inclusive delivery.
    • Oversee the Restoration Stewardship Program, fostering trust and leadership among young professionals.
    • Coordinate youth-led activities across GLF events, ensuring participatory and impactful engagement.
    • Facilitate capacity-building and co-creation of knowledge with youth networks and partners.

    Partnership and Representation

    • Build strategic partnerships to expand the visibility and reach of the youth program.
    • Represent GLF at global conferences, youth forums, and policy spaces, advocating for youth inclusion and leadership.
    • Promote youth participation in high-level international events such as COPs.

    Resource Mobilization

    • Identify and secure funding opportunities aligned with youth priorities.
    • Manage budgets and resources efficiently to support program sustainability and expansion.

    Education and Experience Requirements

    • Master’s degree in environmental studies, international development, climate science, or related fields.
    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in program coordination, youth engagement, or environmental initiatives in international or multi-stakeholder contexts.

    • Strong understanding of climate change, ecosystem restoration, biodiversity, and nature-based solutions.
    • Proven track record working with youth networks, organizing participatory events, and capacity-building activities.
    • Experience in stakeholder engagement, partnership development, and resource mobilization.
