The International Centre for the Study of the Preservation and Restoration of Cultural Property (ICCROM) has announced new consultancy opportunities for qualified professionals to serve as National Coordinators in Tunisia, Côte d’Ivoire, Egypt, and Kenya under its multi-country cultural heritage project.
The consultancy positions form part of ICCROM’s “Towards Sustainable Development in Africa: Transformative Capacity Building to Advance Craftsmanship in Cultural Heritage” initiative, which seeks to strengthen cultural heritage preservation while promoting sustainable development across the African continent.
Applications for all four positions are open until July 15, 2026.
The National Coordinator positions are offered through ICCROM’s Programmes Unit and will support the implementation of activities under the organization’s regional capacity-building initiative.
Successful candidates will work remotely from their respective countries under an Individual Engagement Contract with an initial 11-month term, which may be renewed based on project needs and performance.
The project aims to strengthen craftsmanship in cultural heritage preservation while contributing to sustainable development objectives through local coordination and stakeholder engagement.
ICCROM is recruiting National Coordinators for the following countries:
Each coordinator will oversee project implementation at the national level, working closely with ICCROM’s Programmes Unit and Project Officer to facilitate activities within their assigned country.
