The Kofi Annan NextGen Democracy Prize 2026 is a global initiative designed to recognise and support young leaders advancing democratic values. The prize honors individuals aged 18 to 30 who demonstrate exceptional leadership in defending and promoting democracy.

Eligibility

Be between 18 and 30 years old at the time of application
Demonstrate proven leadership and impact in democracy-related initiatives
Be willing and able to participate in programme activities and events
Submit all materials in English
