Logistics Assistant @Malaria Consortium

Overview

Malaria Consortium is recruiting for a Logistics Assistant to support management of malaria commodities at project offices and central medical stores.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Supply Chain Officer and State Central Medical Stores in program implementation.
• Carry out pick and pack of implementation medicines and materials for SMC cycles.
• Sort, count, and document SPAQ returned to Central Medical Stores at the end of each cycle.
• Support physical verification of commodities during receipt into stores.
• Ensure delivery notes/waybills are signed and issued to vendors.
• Separate damaged items and ensure they are clearly labelled.
• Assist in monitoring delivery and escalate discrepancies.
• Support monthly stock status assessments at the state central medical store.
• Assist in reverse logistics coordination for SMC drugs.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• A minimum of Senior Secondary Certificate Examination.
• Computer literate.
• At least one year of experience in commodity logistics and supply management.
• Able to work under pressure, both independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible and with a strong service mentality.
• Experience in public health commodity logistics is an advantage.
