Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive clinical care, including diagnosing illnesses and prescribing treatment.
• Conduct outpatient and inpatient consultations, monitor patient progress, and make critical decisions regarding discharge or referral.
• Manage medical supplies, ensure hygiene and sterilization standards, and participate in the collection and analysis of epidemiological data.
• Train and support paramedical staff, collaborating with nurses and team members for high-quality patient care.
• Conduct triage assessments in emergency and critical care units and manage admissions and complications.
• Ensure accurate documentation of patient records and appropriate follow-up care, including vaccinations upon discharge.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree.
• Valid license to practice medicine.
• Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience.
• Previous experience in nutrition programmes, HIV/TB care, or pediatric wards is advantageous.
• Fluency in English and knowledge of local languages such as Hausa or Fulani is desirable.
• Basic computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel.
