Monitoring and Evaluation M&E Job in Gombe @Unknown

Overview

Malaria Consortium is seeking a Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Consultant to support the 2026 Azithromycin (AZM) Mass Drug Administration (MDA) campaigns in Gombe, Adamawa, and Jigawa States.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead pre-implementation data verification.
• Deploy and monitor digital tools such as Kobo Collect and Digit HCM.
• Conduct facility visits and supervise treatment and logistics data validation.
• Coordinate daily data analysis and support learning-to-action events.
• Provide capacity building for supervisors and Health Facility Workers (HFWs).
• Participate in review meetings and offer technical mentoring to LGA-level staff.

Requirements

• Degree in Public Health, Development Studies, Statistics, Data Science, or related field.
• At least five years of experience in M&E roles, preferably in malaria campaigns.
• Proficiency in data collection tools such as Kobotoolbox, QGIS, Excel, and Power BI.
• Strong analytical, coordination, and communication skills.
• Fluency in English and Hausa.
• Availability for the full consultancy period.
• Not a current staff of any Government Ministry of Health or involved in MDA-AZM activities at the time of application.
