Overview
Pathways International is recruiting a National Lead role to support the development of innovative, safe, and legal pathways for displaced people. This is a fully remote position based in Italy.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinating national-level engagement with public authorities and institutional partners
- Supporting strategic planning and implementation of pathway initiatives
- Engaging philanthropic partners to mobilize financial resources
- Advancing innovative financing and operational models within Italy
- Build and maintain relationships with international organizations, NGOs, government bodies, and foundations
- Design and implement innovative approaches within the Italian migration pathways ecosystem
- Develop strong partnerships with philanthropic organizations and support fundraising efforts
- Ensure coordination between national strategies and local initiatives
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Public policy, Political science, International development, or Public affairs
- Strong understanding of forced displacement and migration systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Italian
- Experience working with philanthropic actors or mobilizing public funding
