Overview

The Nurse Team Supervisor is responsible for leading and coordinating nursing activities within MSF-supported health facilities in Kebbi State, Nigeria. The role combines clinical nursing duties with team supervision to ensure high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Provide nursing or anaesthesia services to support patient care.
Ensure proper implementation of MSF medical and hygiene protocols.
Supervise medication administration, patient monitoring, and clinical follow-up.
Organize staff schedules, leave plans, and team assignments.
Evaluate staff performance and identify training needs.
Provide coaching, bedside supervision, and technical support to nurses and assistants.
Oversee pharmacy and medical stock management, including ordering and inventory control.
Maintain accurate patient records, reports, and medical documentation.

Requirements

Registered Nurse qualification or equivalent medical training.
Experience in clinical nursing and/or therapeutic feeding programmes.
Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
Ability to work in high-pressure humanitarian settings.
Knowledge of infection prevention and control practices.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Flexibility to work across departments.
