    Overview

    The OHP Assistant at INTERSOS is responsible for implementing WASH activities within IDPs and host communities, ensuring gender balance and community ownership.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Ensure community participation in all WASH activities.
    • Mobilize, train, and follow up on communities/WASH committees formed by INTERSOS.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 1 year experience in WASH, preferably with a humanitarian organization.
    • Relevant experience and training in Hygiene Promotion.
    • Essential computer literacy (Word, Excel, and internet).
    • Excellent program implementation skills.
    • Good communication skills and fluency in spoken and written English.
    • Understanding of the local language (Hausa or Kanuri) is an added advantage.
