Overview
The Roving IT Officer provides roving technical support for Information and Communication Technology (ICT) systems across multiple project locations, ensuring the installation, maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of ICT infrastructure while supporting users.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide roving ICT technical support across operational locations.
- Install, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot ICT infrastructure and equipment.
- Support users to ensure efficient and secure use of ICT services.
- Travel between operational locations to provide support.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related ICT field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years providing ICT services and support, preferably in organizational or operational environments.
- Skills: Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills; ability to work independently and manage multiple support requests.
- Computer literacy: Proficient in word processing, spreadsheets, and internet use.
- Personal qualities: Adaptability, teamwork, and commitment to humanitarian principles.
