Overview
The World Health Organization (WHO) is seeking a Pandemic Fund Coordinator (P4) to enhance global pandemic preparedness and response coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate single-country and multi-country Pandemic Fund initiatives.
- Develop and maintain monitoring, accountability, and learning systems.
- Lead the development of regional and multi-country proposals for funding.
- Engage with stakeholders including governments, NGOs, and development partners.
- Represent WHO in technical meetings and strategic discussions.
- Supervise and mentor team members to enhance project delivery.
- Identify funding opportunities and advocate for regional collaboration.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, International Relations, Health Policy, or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in public health programme management or humanitarian operations.
- Strong background in project management and stakeholder coordination.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
- Proven leadership and team management experience.
- Ability to work across multicultural and international environments.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of French is an advantage.
