Overview

This role offers an opportunity for experienced human resources professionals to contribute to an international development organisation focused on protecting, educating, and empowering children through the power of play.

Key Responsibilities

Support Country Offices and strengthen global HR practices.
Improve operational effectiveness, employee relations, organisational development, and diversity initiatives.
Provide guidance on global People and Culture policies.
Support localisation of policies to reflect local cultures and operational realities.
Advise management and employees on HR policies and best practices.
Monitor employee feedback and workplace trends.
Oversee employee relations and ensure ethical workplace practices.

Requirements

A master’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field.
Extensive experience in international development organisations.
Strong knowledge of labour laws across multiple countries.
Experience delivering HR services through a business partner model.
Proven expertise in employee relations.
Fluency in English; knowledge of French, Arabic, or Portuguese is an advantage.
Strong emotional intelligence and the ability to collaborate across multicultural teams.

Compensation varies depending on location. Example salary ranges include:

Uganda: UGX 9,750,052 per month
Ghana: GHS 15,156 per month
United Kingdom: GBP 54,374 per year
Canada: CAD 90,418 per year

Location

This is a global position, open to candidates legally eligible to work in multiple locations, including London, Addis Ababa, Accra, Kampala, and others.
