Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement policy strategies aligned with global sustainability goals.
Lead engagement with governments, policymakers, and international institutions.
Represent the organization at global forums, conferences, and policy discussions.
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
Create high-quality policy briefs, reports, and advocacy materials.
Translate complex international policy frameworks into actionable insights.
Identify impactful opportunities within global processes such as UN conventions and G20 discussions.
Monitor global policy trends and provide strategic recommendations.
Analyze political landscapes to identify advocacy opportunities.
Anticipate risks and emerging policy developments.
Strengthen partnerships with organizations and coalitions.
Support collaboration across a global network.
Manage and mentor team members.
Oversee project delivery and team performance.
Contribute to a collaborative and inclusive work culture.

Requirements

Master’s degree in political science, environmental management, economics, or a related field.
Proven experience influencing policy at governmental or international levels.
Strong understanding of global policy frameworks (e.g., UN processes, WTO, G20).
Excellent communication and strategic thinking skills.
Ability to manage projects independently and deliver results.
Experience in sustainability, biodiversity, or climate policy (preferred).
Background working with businesses or multi-stakeholder coalitions (preferred).
Team management experience (preferred).
