Overview

Queen Mary University of London is inviting applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate (PDRA) position within its Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. This full-time, fixed-term role is part of the ESRC-funded “Right Worlds” project and is expected to begin on 1 September 2026.

Key Responsibilities

Conducting original research aligned with the project’s themes.
Collaborating closely with the principal investigators.
Supporting the organization of workshops, conferences, and fieldwork.
Contributing to academic publications and reports.
Developing independent research outputs related to the project.

Requirements

Strong academic background in International Relations, Political Science, Political Sociology, or a closely related discipline.
Clear research interest in right-wing political thought or international politics.
Strong analytical and writing skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Experience or willingness to engage in interdisciplinary research.
