Principal Product Manager Agents and Context - Elasticsearch @Elastic

Overview

Elastic, the Search AI Company, is looking for a Principal Product Manager to guide the vision, strategy, and execution for the Elastic Agent Builder. This role involves defining how enterprises build, manage, and scale context for AI agents, working with senior leadership and the global community of AI developers.

Key Responsibilities

• Work directly with enterprise customers, sales teams, and solution architects to understand requirements, negotiate priorities, and clarify product needs.
• Build, socialize, and align a roadmap for core context engineering capabilities powered by Elastic.
• Deeply understand the AI Agent market, major players, and trends impacting strategy.
• Collaborate with data science and engineering to develop strategy for benchmarking and evaluations of agent capabilities.
• Work with design teams to create user experiences for agent context refinement.
• Be the product expert and evangelize Agent Builder capabilities through various content.
• Engage with a broad ecosystem of AI partners, including major cloud service providers.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in product management or solution delivery for technical products.
• Deep technical understanding of the AI/ML landscape, including LLMs and context engineering.
• Ability to move quickly, learn from experiments, and utilize AI tools for decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to lead in a matrixed organization and align stakeholders.
• Outstanding spoken and written communication skills.
• Passion for industry trends and commitment to solving customer problems.
