Principal Product Manager Agents and Context - Elasticsearch @Elastic

Overview

Elastic is seeking a Principal Product Manager to guide the vision, strategy, and execution for the Elastic Agent Builder. This role will focus on enabling users to create more effective AI agents through the platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage directly with enterprise customers, sales teams, and solution architects to understand requirements and priorities.
• Develop a roadmap for context engineering capabilities utilizing Elastic for AI Agents.
• Analyze the AI Agent market and its potential impact on strategy.
• Collaborate with data science and engineering teams for benchmarking agent capabilities.
• Work with design teams to enhance user experiences related to context management in agents.
• Serve as the product expert and promote Agent Builder capabilities through various content forms.
• Manage relationships with AI partners, including major cloud service providers.

Requirements

• 10+ years of product management or solution delivery experience in technical, cloud infrastructure, or platform products.
• Deep technical understanding of the AI/ML landscape, including LLMs, RAG architectures, and vector databases.
• Ability to lead across a matrix organization and align stakeholders toward common goals in a remote environment.
• Outstanding spoken and written communication skills, capable of distilling complex details into narratives for varied audiences.
• A passion for industry trends and solving real-world customer issues.
• Proficient in utilizing AI tools for enhancing clarity and decision-making.
