Overview

The role of Principal Product Manager involves guiding the vision, strategy, and execution for Identity Threat Detection and Response (ITDR) within Elastic Security, addressing the critical area of identity as a target for attacks in various environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for ITDR within Elastic Security.
• Manage the plan for securing non-human and AI agent identities, including service accounts and workloads.
• Collaborate with threat research and detection engineering on identity-specific threats.
• Drive the response and containment strategies for identity threats.
• Work closely with enterprise customers to understand their requirements regarding identity attacks.
• Collaborate with design teams to create investigative and response experiences emphasizing identity.
• Keep informed about the identity-security market and evolving threat landscape.
• Serve as the product expert and promote Elastic's identity capabilities through community engagement.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in product management or security product delivery.
• Strong knowledge of identity-based attack techniques and identity security domains.
• Fluency in non-human identities and understanding their unique behaviors.
• Technical comprehension of AI/ML in the context of identity security.
• Ability to lead and influence in a dynamic, remote-first environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written.
• Customer-focused with a commitment to solving real-world problems related to identity security.
