Principal Product Manager - Identity Threat Detection & Response @Elastic

Overview

The role involves guiding the vision, strategy, and execution for Identity Threat Detection and Response (ITDR) within Elastic Security. It focuses on defining how Elastic detects and responds to identity-based threats in various environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the ITDR function within Elastic Security.
• Manage the plan for securing non-human and AI agent identities.
• Work with threat research and detection engineering focusing on identity-specific threats.
• Drive the response and containment strategy for identity threats.
• Collaborate with enterprise customers to understand requirements for identity attacks.
• Work with the design team to develop investigation and response experiences.
• Gain deep knowledge of the identity-security market and develop strategies accordingly.
• Be the product expert and evangelize Elastic's identity capabilities.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in product management for security products.
• Solid knowledge of identity-based attack techniques and identity security disciplines.
• Fluency in non-human identities, including service accounts and AI agents.
• Deep technical comprehension of AI/ML landscape.
• Demonstrated ability to lead across a matrixed organization and drive execution.
• Outstanding spoken and written communication skills.
• Commitment to solving real-world customer problems.
