Overview

Elastic is seeking a Principal Product Manager to act as the primary product voice for Elastic Security's most strategic enterprise customers. This role involves managing customer enhancement requests and translating them into coherent product directions.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the enhancement request pipeline across multiple strategic enterprise accounts.
• Translate customer requirements into shipped products while synthesizing input from various accounts.
• Shape customer input into successful products with benefits for a wider market.
• Influence core product roadmaps based on validated customer patterns.
• Serve as the primary product voice in meetings with senior customer stakeholders.
• Prioritize customer-sourced requirements using structured frameworks.
• Partner with product and engineering leads to write actionable requirements.
• Support deal cycles with product resources during RFP responses and roadmap presentations.
• Address customer expectations against internal roadmap.
• Create artifacts like enhancement request dashboards for visibility.
• Advocate for customer needs within the company while considering broader market impacts.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of product management experience, with at least 4 years in B2B enterprise software.
• Hands-on knowledge of security operations platforms like SIEM, SOAR, or XDR.
• Experience managing structured enhancement request pipelines across enterprise accounts.
• Executive presence with comfort in dealing with C-suite stakeholders.
• Technical credibility with respect earned through quality requirements.
• Cross-functional leadership and influence across multiple teams.
• Structured thinking with a bias for closure.
• Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
