Overview

Elastic, the Search AI Company, is seeking a Principal Product Manager for Elastic Security's most strategic enterprise customers. This role focuses on managing enhancement requests and ensuring coherent product direction based on customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage the enhancement request pipeline across multiple strategic enterprise accounts.
• Translate customer requirements into shipped products, synthesizing input from various accounts.
• Identify patterns across accounts and shape them into successful products benefiting the wider market.
• Serve as the primary product voice in meetings with senior customer stakeholders, delivering roadmap updates.
• Prioritize customer-sourced requirements using structured frameworks such as RICE.
• Partner with product and engineering leads to ensure requirements are actionable.
• Create artifacts for visibility, such as roadmap trackers and decision memos.
• Advocate for customer needs while balancing market requirements and internal considerations.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of product management experience, with at least 4 years in B2B enterprise software.
• Hands-on knowledge in security operations platforms (SIEM, SOAR, XDR).
• Experience managing enhancement requests across enterprise accounts.
• Comfortable interacting with C-suite and VP-level stakeholders.
• Strong technical knowledge and ability to write actionable specifications for engineering teams.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and navigate a matrixed organization.
• Structured thinking and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of distilling complex concepts for diverse audiences.
