Overview

Elastic Security is seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead the development of XDR and its convergence with exposure and vulnerability management. This role involves driving strategic product initiatives and collaborating across teams to enhance security solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Own XDR strategy and delivery across detection and response for endpoint, cloud, identity, and network.
• Lead the expansion of XDR into exposure and vulnerability management, including features like patch management and remediation workflows.
• Integrate signals from attack surfaces and cloud posture into the product roadmap.
• Engage with senior customer stakeholders to communicate product vision and roadmap direction.
• Analyze the competitive landscape to inform product direction.
• Work with engineering teams to establish clear requirements and support threat research initiatives.
• Create artifacts for stakeholders to enhance visibility on product development.

Requirements

• 7-10 years of product management experience, including 4 years in security or B2B enterprise software.
• Hands-on knowledge of XDR, EDR, SIEM, or security operations.
• Understanding of exposure prioritization and vulnerability management.
• Comprehension of analytics and data science techniques related to security.
• Technical credibility and ability to engage with engineering teams.
• Executive presence with experience engaging C-suite stakeholders.
• Proven success in cross-functional collaboration.
• Demonstrated ability to lead in a remote-first environment.
