    Overview

    The role involves owning the end-to-end strategy and delivery of XDR and exposure capabilities at Elastic, a company enabling organizations to leverage AI-powered search solutions. This position focuses on the convergence of detection and response with exposure and vulnerability management.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Own XDR strategy and delivery across detection and response domains including endpoint, cloud, identity, and network.
    • Lead expansion into exposure and vulnerability management, managing features such as patch management and remediation workflows.
    • Integrate signals from attack surface and cloud posture into prioritization processes.
    • Serve as the product voice with senior customer stakeholders, delivering roadmap direction.
    • Maintain authority on the competitive landscape to inform product direction.
    • Collaborate with engineering to write clear requirements and to integrate threat research into the products.
    • Create artifacts like roadmap trackers and decision memos for stakeholder visibility.

    Requirements

    • 7-10 years of product management experience, with at least 4 years in security or B2B enterprise software.
    • Hands-on knowledge of XDR, EDR, SIEM, or broader security operations.
    • Understanding of exposure prioritization and vulnerability management.
    • Solid comprehension of analytics and data science techniques related to cybersecurity.
    • Technical credibility and ability to earn respect through quality of requirements.
    • Executive presence and comfort with senior stakeholders.
    • Experience in cross-functional collaboration across various departments.
    • Ability to adapt to different projects and teams in a remote-first environment.
