Principal, Technical GTM Enablement @ClickHouse

Overview

ClickHouse is seeking a Principal for Technical GTM Enablement to lead global technical sales enablement and Solution Architect (SA) onboarding. This role is crucial in defining the knowledge and skills necessary for the success of ClickHouse SAs and involves close collaboration with various teams to drive performance and results.

Key Responsibilities

• Global SA Onboarding:
  • Design and run the onboarding program for new SAs, focusing on technical foundations, ClickHouse architecture, and sales processes.
  • Define certification criteria and set clear milestones for new hires.
  • Adapt the program to regional sales approaches and coordinate related schedules.
• Technical Sales Enablement Strategy:
  • Own the technical enablement calendar and align it with quarterly priorities.
  • Ensure product-launch readiness and provide necessary materials to SAs.
  • Develop competitive and architecture curriculum for training.
• Diagnose, Then Prescribe: Identify skill gaps through data analysis and propose the right training modalities.
• Build at Scale: Manage the enablement toolchain and foster a community of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
• Stay in the Field: Engage in customer-facing activities and facilitate training sessions.
• Operate Like an Owner: Define KPIs and manage multiple programs efficiently.

Requirements

• 3+ years in a quota-carrying role, such as Account Executive or Solutions Engineer.
• 8+ years of experience in solutions engineering or technical enablement in enterprise software.
• Strong data fluency, including SQL and knowledge of data architectures.
• Experience in program design and delivery for global technical audiences.
• Ability to lead through influence and work cross-functionally.
• Comfortable with data-driven decision-making.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% for work.
