Overview

Global Village Healthcare Initiative for Africa (GHIV Africa) is seeking a Project Manager to lead and oversee the Rapid Response Mechanism (RRM) project, ensuring timely and effective delivery of emergency response interventions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute project work plans in line with RRM objectives.
Ensure timely mobilization of resources for emergency responses.
Coordinate with field teams and partners to ensure smooth project implementation.
Lead, motivate, and manage project staff, ensuring high performance and accountability.
Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews.
Develop and maintain monitoring and evaluation frameworks for the project.
Prepare accurate and timely project reports for management and donors.
Manage project budgets in line with organizational policies and donor requirements.
Represent the organization in coordination meetings with government authorities, UN agencies, and NGOs.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Social Sciences, Humanitarian Studies, Development Studies, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in emergency response or humanitarian projects.
Strong knowledge of RRM, humanitarian principles, and coordination mechanisms.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure in challenging environments.
