Overview

The Protection Monitoring / CBP Officer will supervise protection monitoring activities and manage a team at the Danish Refugee Council (DRC) to ensure effective community protection responses.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise Protection Monitoring activities and the team involved in these activities.
Conduct training and mentoring of local partner staff and volunteers.
Manage protection monitoring tasks such as surveys, community action plans, and awareness sessions.
Draft reports, including protection monitoring and alert reports.
Represent DRC at local coordination meetings and liaise with stakeholders.

Requirements

University Degree in a related field (Social Work, Law, Psychology, etc.) is preferred.
1 year of relevant work experience in protection or related fields.
Strong interpersonal and reporting skills, and computer literacy.
Fluency in Hausa and good working knowledge of English.
