The role of Public Safety Solutions Engineer at NiCE involves supporting new business initiatives by positioning the company's solution portfolio within the Public Safety sector in North America. The engineer will collaborate closely with various internal functions, including sales, product management, and customer support.

Key Responsibilities

• Support sales opportunities by demonstrating product capabilities.
• Understand the Criminal Justice Process workflow as it pertains to digital evidence.
• Engage with user work groups in Public Safety agencies.
• Conduct needs assessment/analysis in alignment with Account Executives.
• Collect feedback on solution requirements and collaborate with Product Management.
• Assist with technical responses to RFPs and presentations.
• Develop Scope of Work documents (SOWs).
• Learn market needs and trends in the Public Safety sector.
• Deliver compelling presentations to end users, partners, and consultants.
• Differentiate NiCE solutions from competitors during customer presentations.
• Maintain customer relationships to maximize long-term revenue.

Requirements

• BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Management Systems, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in sales or sales engineering in Government verticals or the Public Safety/Security industry.
• Familiarity with government purchasing personnel related to RFP/Bid responses and contracts.
• Proven consultative selling style with experience in demonstrations and presentations.
• Strong technical knowledge and excellent communication skills.
• Creative problem-solving skills and a strong desire to win business.
• Experience influencing high-end decision makers.
• Travel requirement of approximately 50% per month within the assigned territory.
