Job Title: Fund Impact Monitoring Coordinator
Location: Remote, anywhere in the US

Contract: Full-time, Exempt
The Fund Impact Monitoring Coordinator will lead and coordinate monitoring, data management, and impact reporting for a grant portfolio focused on the recovery of endangered species.
The role ensures the delivery of credible, consistent, and actionable evidence of species recovery progress across multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities
Species Assessment & Data Management
- Coordinate with partners and IUCN Red List Authorities to support updates to species assessments, including Red List and Green Status.
- Collect, compile, and manage baseline and annual data on species status and threats.
- Maintain and manage a centralized database for monitoring the Fund’s portfolio.
- Lead annual interim updates to track species recovery trajectories.
Impact Tracking & Reporting
- Define and develop indicators that reflect meaningful species recovery progress.
- Consolidate indicators into clear metrics for tracking at species and portfolio levels.
- Monitor project progress through partner coordination and review of technical reports.
- Maintain a public-facing impact tracking platform in collaboration with communications teams.
- Produce annual impact reports summarizing portfolio progress.
- Ensure high standards of data quality, documentation, and reporting consistency.
- Collaborate closely with internal monitoring and priorities teams.
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in a relevant field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in conservation.
- Experience developing or implementing conservation impact monitoring systems.
- Familiarity with Conservation Standards and IUCN frameworks preferred.
- Experience managing relational databases (Airtable preferred).

Working Conditions
- May require occasional work outside standard business hours due to global collaboration.
- Estimated travel: 3–6 domestic or international trips annually.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $70,000 – $80,000 (commensurate with experience).
- Comprehensive health coverage including medical, dental, and vision.
