Key Responsibilities

Lead the implementation and coordination of programme activities across participating countries.
Develop annual work plans, budgets, and monitoring frameworks.
Oversee procurement, financial management, and reporting processes.
Coordinate monitoring and evaluation systems, including data collection and impact assessment.
Manage relationships with stakeholders, including governments, NGOs, and development partners.
Organize audits, evaluations, and supervision missions.
Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and compliance with IGAD and donor guidelines.

Requirements

A Master’s degree in fields such as Agricultural Economics, Rural Development, Natural Resource Management, or Climate Change.
At least 10 years of professional experience in development project management.
Proven experience in resilience, food security, or climate adaptation programmes.
Familiarity with multilateral donor procedures, particularly those of the African Development Bank.
Strong understanding of regional policies, land management, and climate issues.
Proficiency in IT tools such as Microsoft Office and project management software.
