Overview

This program offers a full-time remote role as a Social Media Coordinator to support the global social media presence of The Nature Conservancy (TNC) while engaging a worldwide audience around conservation and environmental action.

Key Responsibilities

Planning, scheduling, and publishing content across flagship social channels.
Maintaining and updating the social media content calendar.
Making real-time publishing decisions based on trends and performance insights.
Sourcing, organizing, and editing content from internal teams.
Repurposing high-performing content for additional reach.
Drafting social copy and sourcing assets for timely posts.
Coordinating content across departments and campaigns.
Monitoring and responding to comments, replies, and direct messages.
Tracking social media trends, tools, and platform updates.
Using platforms such as Sprout Social, Canva, and Asana.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
At least 2 years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
Experience organizing and coordinating projects.
Experience proofreading and editing business documents.
