    JOB SUMMARY

    As a Sales Officer at Pullus Africa, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and delivering excellent service to clients. You will actively engage in sales outreach, market research, product promotion, and closing deals within the agricultural sector.

    You will work closely with internal teams, including inventory, procurement, marketing, and operations, to ensure that products and services effectively meet customer needs—particularly those of smallholder farmers, poultry producers, and agribusiness stakeholders.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company targets
    • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the agricultural sector
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
    • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, trends, and competition
    • Present and promote company products and services to potential clients
    • Prepare and deliver proposals, quotations, and sales contracts
    • Follow up on leads and prospects to close deals and meet sales quotas
    • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions
    • Attend industry events, trade fairs, and conferences to generate leads
    • Collaborate with the marketing team on campaigns and promotional materials
    • Monitor customer satisfaction and resolve issues promptly
    • Provide feedback on customer needs to improve products and services
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and sales procedures
    • Prepare regular sales reports and performance updates
    • Work closely with operations and customer support teams to ensure seamless service delivery

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
    • Minimum of 3 years sales experience, preferably in the agricultural sector
    • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Ability to understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions
    • Solid knowledge of sales strategies and market research techniques
    • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and result-driven
