Seeds of Democracy 2026: Call for Proposals for ALDA Member Organisations @ALDA – the European Association for Local Democracy

Overview

ALDA is launching its 2026 Call for Proposals under the “Seeds of Democracy: Connecting People and Communities” initiative, offering support to local organizations for projects that strengthen democracy, community engagement, and European values through participatory actions. 12 projects will receive 15,000 EUR each, covering 100% of eligible costs.

Eligibility

This call is open exclusively to legal, non-profit entities established in an EU Member State and current ALDA members. All activities must be implemented within the European Union.

Benefits

Each selected project will receive a 15,000 EUR grant, covering the full cost of eligible activities. A total of 12 projects will be funded.

Applicants must complete the official application form and attach all required documents. An online information webinar will be held on 4 March 2026 at 12:00 CET. Contact ALDA’s regranting team for support.
