Senior Account Executive, Select Accounts @Mixpanel

Overview

The Senior Account Executive for Select Accounts at Mixpanel will manage a portfolio of named enterprise accounts as well as pursue a list of target clients. This role involves leading complex deals independently and collaborating with various internal teams to drive sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and execute account plans aligned with customer business priorities.
• Develop relationships from practitioner level to C-suite.
• Conduct regular business reviews to identify growth opportunities.
• Accurately forecast and maintain a clean pipeline in Salesforce.
• Identify and close expansion opportunities within existing accounts.
• Prospect and secure new logos from a designated target list.
• Utilize MEDDPICC to manage sales processes.
• Collaborate with Solutions Engineers on product demonstrations.
• Generate pipeline through various sourcing channels.
• Partner with Customer Success to ensure value realization post-sale.
• Provide feedback to Product based on customer and market signals.
• Contribute to team playbooks and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing enterprise SaaS accounts through renewals, expansions, and new sales.
• Experience closing six- and seven-figure deals with lengthy sales cycles.
• Established relationships at the VP and C-suite levels.
• Familiarity with MEDDPICC sales methodology.
• Ability to anticipate risks in complex deals and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-directed and coachable with a proactive approach.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity in account strategy development.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% for on-site meetings and events.
