Senior Account Executive, Vertical Accounts @Mixpanel

Overview

Mixpanel is the leading product intelligence and analytics platform, helping over 29,000 companies understand how people use their products. The company is hiring a Senior Account Executive for Verticalized Sales to drive growth within industry verticals in North America.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive net-new enterprise pipeline within assigned vertical(s) by sourcing, qualifying, and closing new customers.
• Collaborate with Renewal Managers on renewal growth and with Customer Value Managers on upsell opportunities.
• Manage a full-cycle enterprise sales process using MEDDPICC to qualify deals.
• Forecast accurately and identify risks early in the CRM.
• Develop vertical-specific expertise and create refined playbooks.
• Conduct credible technical discovery interviews about prospect's data and analytics needs.
• Partner with Sales Engineering for tailored demos.
• Maintain current and accurate pipeline data in SFDC.
• Work with Marketing on vertical messaging and campaigns.
• Provide insights and signals to your manager on deal volume and competitive patterns.
• Support Enablement with vertical fluency training and onboarding.

Requirements

• Strong track record in full-cycle sales from acquisition to expansion in SMB to enterprise SaaS.
• Experience selling into a specific industry vertical or ability to build vertical fluency quickly.
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity and creating processes in real time.
• Strong discovery and qualification skills; familiarity with MEDDPICC or similar methodology.
• Experience in analytics, data, or technical products.
• Direct and clear communication with business and technical stakeholders.
• Ability to translate field learnings into repeatable sales playbooks.
