Senior Account Executive, Vertical Accounts @Mixpanel

Overview

Mixpanel is the leading product intelligence and analytics platform, helping over 29,000 companies understand how people use their products. The Senior Account Executive, Verticalized Sales will drive growth within an industry vertical across North American markets, managing full-cycle enterprise deals.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive net-new enterprise pipeline within assigned vertical(s), sourcing, qualifying, and closing new customers.
• Collaborate with Renewal Managers on renewal growth and Customer Value Managers on upsell opportunities.
• Manage full-cycle enterprise sales from first meeting to close, applying MEDDPICC methodology.
• Accurately forecast and identify risks in deals.
• Gain expertise in buyer personas and common use cases of the vertical.
• Shape and refine vertical playbooks based on field learnings.
• Conduct technical discovery with prospects regarding their data and analytics.
• Partner with marketing for validating vertical messaging and campaigns.
• Provide insights on deal volume, win rates, and competitive patterns.
• Assist with training and onboarding for the wider team as the vertical matures.

Requirements

• Strong track record of full-cycle sales success in SMB to enterprise SaaS.
• Experience in a specific industry vertical or ability to quickly build vertical fluency.
• Comfortable building processes in ambiguity.
• Strong discovery and qualification skills.
• Understanding of analytics, data, or technical products.
• Clear communication skills with business and technical stakeholders.
• Experience creating repeatable playbooks from field learnings.
