Senior Account Executive, Vertical Accounts @Mixpanel

Overview

Mixpanel is an established product intelligence and analytics platform, aiding over 29,000 companies in understanding user interactions with their products. The Senior Account Executive, Verticalized Sales will focus on growth within industry verticals in North America, managing the full enterprise sales process.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive net-new enterprise pipeline within assigned vertical(s) by sourcing, qualifying, and closing new customers, as well as expanding business within existing accounts.
• Collaborate with Renewal Managers and Customer Value Managers to drive growth opportunities.
• Execute a full-cycle enterprise sales process, applying MEDDPICC or similar sales methodologies.
• Maintain accurate forecasts and communicate risks early.
• Develop industry knowledge to refine sales strategies and playbooks.
• Engage with Sales Engineering to tailor presentations and technical validations.
• Coordinate with Marketing to align vertical messaging and campaigns to field insights.
• Provide feedback on deal patterns and market conditions to inform coverage strategies.

Requirements

• Proven full-cycle sales success in SMB to enterprise SaaS.
• Experience in a specific industry vertical or ability to quickly develop vertical fluency.
• Comfort in ambiguous environments, creating processes on-the-fly.
• Strong discovery and qualification skills; familiarity with methodologies like MEDDPICC.
• Technical product experience with the ability to engage technical stakeholders effectively.
• Clear communication skills that foster trust with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience in transforming field insights into scalable sales practices.
