Senior Account Executive, Vertical Accounts @Mixpanel

Overview

Mixpanel is a leading product intelligence and analytics platform, trusted by over 29,000 companies to help understand product usage. The company is hiring a Senior Account Executive for Vertical Accounts, responsible for driving growth within an industry vertical across North American markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive net-new enterprise pipeline within assigned verticals, including sourcing, qualifying, and closing new customers.
• Collaborate on expansion with Renewal Managers for growth and upselling opportunities.
• Manage a full cycle enterprise sales process from initial meeting to close using MEDDPICC methodology.
• Accurately forecast and identify risks to management and in CRM.
• Develop expertise in vertical-specific language, buyer personas, and use cases to enhance discovery and competitive positioning.
• Shape and refine vertical playbooks based on field learnings.
• Conduct credible technical discovery with prospects regarding data and analytics maturity.
• Partner with Sales Engineering for tailored demos and technical validation.
• Maintain current and accurate pipeline data in SFDC.
• Collaborate with Marketing to align vertical messaging with market observations.
• Provide feedback on deal volume and patterns necessary for strategy adjustments.
• Assist with onboarding and training related to vertical fluency as the vertical matures.

Requirements

• Proven track record in full-cycle sales from acquisition to expansion in SaaS.
• Experience selling into a specific industry vertical or ability to quickly build vertical fluency.
• Comfort in operating with ambiguity and developing processes on-the-go.
• Strong discovery and qualification skills; experience with MEDDPICC or similar methodologies.
• Experience with analytics or technical products and ability to engage with technical buyers.
• Effective communication skills that build trust with stakeholders.
• Experience translating field insights into repeatable sales playbooks.
