Senior DevOps Engineer (browser CI/CD + AWS) @Brave

Overview

Brave is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to work on browser CI/CD and AWS. This role involves reducing toil and building processes to support the automation necessary for reaching 200 million users.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and support automation and processes for continuous integration and delivery.
• Work with hundreds of builds across over 1000 GitHub repositories using various programming languages.
• Ensure a light process with no mandatory meetings, no on-call duties, and flexible working hours.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience.
• Product engineer and continuous improvement mindset.
• Experience with AWS and Terraform.
• Experience with automation and CI for mobile or desktop applications.
• Knowledge of responsible AI usage.
• Experience in build and release engineering, testing, reporting tools, and app distribution.
• Diverse operating system experience (Android, iOS, Linux, macOS, Windows).
• Proficiency in Bash/Shell, Python, Kotlin, and Groovy.
• Knowledge of privacy and security practices.

Nice to Haves

• Familiarity with TeamCity, Jenkins, and browser or Chromium knowledge.
• Experience with automated testing at scale and performance testing.
• Knowledge of security and quality scanning techniques.
