    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead, mentor, and grow a world-class engineering team, providing guidance in endpoint internals, prevention engineering, and machine learning.
    • Own the product roadmap, balancing efficacy, performance, and stability across millions of endpoints.
    • Connect the team's work with the broader Elastic Security product, enhancing detection and protection capabilities.
    • Direct machine learning initiatives, ensuring quality in model development and telemetry features.
    • Drive cross-platform protection efforts, maintaining compatibility with Windows, macOS, and Linux environments.
    • Represent the team externally through conferences and engagements with customers and partners.

    Requirements

    • Experience in people leadership of technical teams, with a focus on growth and development.
    • Hands-on security research experience, including analyzing adversarial tactics and building protective measures.
    • Knowledge of operating system internals, particularly in kernel and user mode.
    • Experience in reverse engineering and malware analysis.
    • Strong communication skills for technical and executive audiences.
    • Ability to function effectively in a distributed team environment.
    • Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools.
