Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis @MongoDB

Overview

MongoDB is seeking a Senior Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) to help build their global Corporate FP&A team. The role involves working closely with senior finance leadership to shape and manage the global forecasting and planning process in a flexible working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and modernize financial systems and forecasting tools in partnership with IT, People, and Finance teams.
• Standardize the use of AI across the FP&A team.
• Manage the company’s planning process/calendar and corporate-level forecast consolidation, including communication of timelines and expectations.
• Develop management reporting to summarize data for senior leadership, including the CEO and CFO.
• Lead a team of analysts and associates to create a world-class Corp FP&A team.
• Drive operational efficiencies across cross-functional teams.
• Forecast global budget items such as payroll taxes and benefits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in finance, business, or economics preferred; MBA is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience within FP&A or other finance functions.
• Expertise in financial modeling, Google Suite, Microsoft Excel, and Pigment.
• Strong organizational skills and capability to navigate complexities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to analyze data and develop actionable recommendations.
• Creativity and problem-solving skills in a growing business environment.
• Strong project management skills with attention to detail.
