Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis @MongoDB

Overview

MongoDB is seeking a Senior Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) to help build its global Corporate FP&A team. The role involves working closely with senior finance leadership and playing a critical role in shaping and managing the global forecasting and planning process.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with IT, People, and Finance teams to modernize and automate forecasting and planning tools, including defining requirements for FP&A and implementing solutions.
• Standardize the use of AI across the FP&A team.
• Manage the company’s planning process and corporate-level forecast consolidation, ensuring clear communication of timelines and expectations.
• Develop reporting for senior management to facilitate decision-making.
• Lead and mentor a small team of analysts and associates to shape a world-class Corp FP&A team.
• Drive operational efficiencies within cross-functional teams.
• Forecast global budget items such as payroll taxes, benefits, and allocations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in finance, business, or economics; MBA preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in FP&A or finance functions.
• Expert in financial modeling, Google Suite, Microsoft Excel, and Pigment.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze data and develop actionable recommendations.
• Creative problem-solving skills and strong project management skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through.

Location
