Overview

ClickHouse is hiring a Senior Manager, Global Workplaces to build the workplace function from the ground up. This foundational role involves designing policies, standards, and an operating model to support ClickHouse's workplace experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and establish ClickHouse's global workplace function from scratch, including necessary policies, standards, and processes.
• Oversee daily operations of small offices, ensuring consistent experience while adapting to local norms.
• Develop a workplace strategy that balances remote-first culture with the need for in-person environments.
• Lead site selection and launching of new offices in partnership with various departments.
• Manage vendor relationships including contract negotiations and facilities management.
• Collaborate with People, IT, Security, and Finance on space planning and capacity management.
• Own the global workplace budget and identify cost optimization opportunities.
• Create scalable workplace policies adaptable across jurisdictions.
• Support company events to reinforce culture and team connection.
• Act as the primary contact for office-related issues across regions.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in workplace management, facilities, or corporate real estate.
• Experience in managing small offices across regions with an understanding of operational differences.
• Enthusiasm for remote-first work, with an appreciation for in-person environments.
• Strong vendor management and contract negotiation skills.
• Experience managing a budget with a history of operational efficiencies.
• Proven collaborative skills across various cross-functional teams.
• Highly organized and proactive with strong communication skills.
• Located in the Americas or EMEA, with travel flexibility.
