Key Responsibilities

• Own key Order Quality design initiatives from concept exploration to execution across multiple concurrent projects.
• Become the domain expert for Order Quality, maintaining continuity on requests from the product team.
• Collaborate with product managers on product strategy and ensure thorough execution-level handoff with engineering teams.
• Engage in strategic conversations and detailed execution work, including Figma flows and design systems collaboration.
• Build strong relationships across product, engineering, research, data science, and brand, representing Order Quality design in various meetings.
• Utilize modern AI tools to accelerate exploration, prototyping, and iteration in the design process.

Requirements

• Minimum 6+ years experience in designing consumer-facing digital products, with a portfolio showcasing complex product journeys.
• Proven ability to manage work end-to-end without delegating both problem framing and execution.
• Experience working across multiple problem spaces and collaborating with product and engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills with a track record of presenting work to cross-functional and senior stakeholders.
• Fluency in Figma, with the capability to create high-fidelity flows and design system-aligned UI.
• Curiosity about design and AI tools to enhance workflows and product outcomes.

Benefits

Instacart offers market-competitive compensation and benefits, including eligibility for equity grants. The base pay for this role ranges from CAD $171,000 to $180,500, depending on experience.

Location

This role is remote but available only to candidates residing in Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, or Nova Scotia.
