Senior Product Manager, AI @Brex

Overview

Brex is the intelligent finance platform that enables companies to spend smarter and move faster in more than 200 markets. The Senior Product Manager, AI role focuses on empowering finance admins to better manage their company's finances through innovative AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Own product direction for the Finance Admin AI surface — the strategy, roadmap, and daily operations.
• Translate company-specific finance workflows into agent behavior suitable for production.
• Define "good judgment" for an agent managing finances and develop appropriate evaluation and feedback loops.
• Prototype functionality and iterate based on user feedback.
• Collaborate with finance admins to ensure software meets their operational needs.
• Set and maintain a high-quality standard for agents in a financial context.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a product manager with a track record of managing complex, user-facing products.
• Experience working with representatives of finance, accounting, HR, and compliance.
• Understanding of company workflows or data/reporting with a particular interest in the respective area.
• Technical background in systems with ambiguous outcomes (e.g., AI/ML, search algorithms).
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and make informed decisions based on available data.
• Strong product judgment and ability to balance speed and depth in execution.
• Experience with prompting and evaluation design is a plus, as well as familiarity with fintech workflows.

Benefits

Salary range of $184,000 - $230,000, with variations based on location, skills, experience, and market demand. Potential equity and other compensation forms may be offered.

Location

This role will be based in either San Francisco, Seattle, or New York City office with a requirement to work in the office at least 3 days per week.
