Key Responsibilities

• Identify workloads where federating data across sources is preferable to consolidating.
• Define the needs of agents regarding data infrastructure, emphasizing the importance of partial visibility.
• Determine how Starburst's federation layer integrates with various catalog implementations.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience as a Product Manager with a focus on technical infrastructure or data platform products.
• Exposure to federated query or data virtualization concepts.
• Understanding of the limitations of precomputation and materialized views under agent workloads.
• Experience managing lakehouse product offerings and related ecosystems.
• Familiarity with query engines like Trino and their impact on performance and reliability is a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% for various business needs.
